Strategies for Tendriculous

(OOG I thought it would be a good idea to work out some ideas and strategies for toppling the big plant, and since we do not seem to RP enough I thought it would entertaining to do it with some RP)

During an evening dinner, Belgannan glances up from his journal, his black eyes scanning his friends and speaks up, his voice with a hint of malice "In light of running from that giant plant, it may be beneficial for us to come up with some sort of strategy to rid this plane of its presence so we may expand our nation in this direction. We should come up with some ideas on how to kill it and counteract its and the area's attacks."

He turns some pages in his journal and finds his notes with a long white finger. "We know that it does not have any real vulnerabilities, one of you said it was immune to acid, and that it could regenerate, but it appeared that fire and possibly cold seemed to temporarily halt its regeneration process. It seemed pretty mindless given how easily it succumbed to my glitterdust spell."

Belgannan glares at his notes, sighs, and closes his eyes wincing at the memories slightly. "We also know it likes to capture its prey in its tendrils, paralyze its prey, and probably eventually eat it, so we should think of ways to counteract its poison and entanglements."

He opens his eyes again his brow furrows slightly, "We also have to deal with the stench which seemed to cause serious nausea even in the best of us, we will need to find a way to counteract that as well, or draw it out away from the stench. Any ideas on defeating this thing?"

Our Assistants (...the power behind the Hazard Guard Council)

For Fun and RP, I thought it would be fun to describe and talk about the people who rule in our stead while we are gone. I assume each of our characters have hired or have had hired for them have at least one assistant to help them to perform their Kingdom duties (Cademon probably at least has one if not more than one).

I had not thought of Belgannan's yet...he would be initially resistant to having an assistant and very particular about the choice of person. I am open to ideas as always.

Grand High Diplomat

I thought we were going to have an RP discussion on the boards for the hiring of the new diplomat. Is this not the case?
